Rick Leaman was appointed Global Head of the Investment Banking Department in April 2009, prior to which he was Joint Global Head, appointed in October 2005. He is a member of the Investment Bank's Executive Committee and the Group Managing Board.
Prior to this role, Rick was Joint Head of Global Mergers and Acquisitions with Jimmy Neissa and Chairman of the Business Review Group for the Americas. Rick joined the firm in 1997. Previously he worked at Dillon Read & Co. Inc.
Rick received a BA from Duke University in 1984 and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business in 1986.
