UBS Warburg comes top in The Bankers first poll of FX players performance

UBS Warburg has swept the board in a recent FX poll in The Banker magazine. This was the publication’s first Foreign Exchange survey, focusing on qualitative measures of FX service.

The article said of UBS Warburg, “The most notable statistics reveals UBS Warburg’s dominance: it took first place in 13 out of 23 categories, 10 more than its closest competitors, HSBC and Citigroup. UBS Warburg scored exceptionally highly for the quality of its relationship management and customer service, and the user-friendliness of its electronic trading platform was valued far above that of other banks' offerings”.

According to Martin Wiedmann, Global Head of FX Distribution, the results are good news, and in line with other recent market polls and surveys, he commented, “We’ve been building tremendous momentum in the past couple years, and customers and other market users are recognising that UBS offers the market’s leading FX service”. Fabian Shey, Global Head of FX Services, added, “We’re particularly pleased to see our wide lead in the customer service category - it shows our emphasis on electronic execution complimented by client focused value-added FX services is exactly what our clients are asking for”.
