UBS wins seven top accolades in Asia In South Korea, UBS was praised for its success in winning high-grade mandates and its strong links with policy banks such as Korea Export-Import Bank. In the Philippines, The Asset noted UBS's dominance of the bank capital space and winning key mandates, including the liability management and bond issue for Globe Telecom. It is the first time since the awards were instituted five years ago that both the Equity and Bond House awards for South Korea were secured by one bank. UBS was named Best Debt House in China and in the Philippines, and Best Equity House in Australia for the second consecutive year. The Asset Triple A Country Awards, conducted annually in recognition of performance excellence in the financial services industry over the previous 12 months, are based on both quantitative and qualitative factors that contribute to a point-score called The Asset Scoring Quotient (TASQ). Whenever possible, TASQ is further supplemented by conducting follow-up interviews and participation in presentations organized by financial institutions and their clients.
