Carbon offsetting

Our commitment
The greenhouse gas emissions resulting from this conference will be calculated and the equivalent CO2 offset through the purchase of VERs (Verified Emission Reductions). Carbon offsetting means that UBS indirectly neutralizes its emissions by investing in third-party projects that reduce an equivalent amount of greenhouse gas emissions. Projects are chosen on the basis of their adherence to international quality standards and of their additional environmental and social benefits.
