About us

UBS has been a fixture in Russia since 1997, when UBS and a Russia firm Brunswick formed an investment-banking joint venture that combined Brunswick’s local expertise and market presence with UBS global capacities. In December 2004, UBS bought out Brunswick’s share to form CJSC “UBS Securities,” a wholly-owned subsidiary of UBS. In March 2006, "OOO UBS Bank", a Russia banking subsidiary of UBS AG, was incorporated. In June 2006 “OOO UBS Bank” received Central Bank of Russia license to carry out banking operations.

UBS Group companies registered in Russia being part of UBS Investment Bank are one of the leading companies providing services in the Russian stock market.
